A driver has taken the the time to help a koala cross a busy road after the marsupial became lost.
Gavin Devine found the animal in the middle of a busy Mount Gravatt road, south of Brisbane, over the weekend.
Images showed the marsupial looking up at Mr Devine as he offered his assistance.

One image showed the man crouched beside the native animal before he climbed up a tree.
'Came across a little fella needing a hand to cross the big bad road and make it safely to his next tree,' he told ABC Brisbane.
'I think he was happy just to have a chat in the middle of the road before he moved on ... looking after one if our national icons.'
Mr Devine was able to escort the koala across the road without either of them being injured by oncoming traffic.
Social media users congratulated Mr Devine over his selfless act.
'This is not far form me and we have koalas local to our area too Wynnum, Tingalpa and surrounds. People need to slow down and be aware,' one social media user said.
