Students of Maharashtra University allowed to chose nearest exam center

Pune: The Students of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences have been allowed to choose the nearest examination center from their place of residence for the summer session 2020 exams. All undergraduate and postgraduate students will also be getting benefit under the 'COVID Suraksha Kavach Yojana'.

The university's controller of examinations Dr Ajit Pathak said, "In the exceptional case of COVID-19, the undergraduate students can choose the college of their course as the examination center which is nearby to their home. They will have to appear for the written and practical exam from the examination center that they choose. The university appeals to the first, second and third year students of all undergraduate courses to give preference to the college which is near their home so that they do not have to travel long distances. They should send the preference order to the university through the principal of the college, by July 14, 2020. The circular has been made available on the university's website."

The Vice-Chancellor Dr Dilip Mhaisekar, registrar Dr Kalidas Chavan has asked the students to follow the preventive guidelines issued by the government for COVID-19 and also to take care of their health. For more information, students can log on to the University's website www.muhs.ac.in.
