Rain to intensify in Chandigarh after 3 days: Met

CHANDIGARH: According to the Chandigarh meteorological centre, occasional rainfall activity will continue for another three days in the city and the intensity of rainfall is expected to increase after that. From July 1 till July 12, the city has recorded 197.7 mm rainfall. On late Saturday night, the city recorded 45.8 mm rainfall. The day temperature was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.8 degrees Celsius.
According to the weathermen, occasional light to moderate rain/thundershowers are expected at many places during the next 24 hours and at a few places in subsequent 72 hours.
