Sydney's The Star casino confirms that a patron has tested POSITIVE for coronavirus after visiting the venue on July 4

The Star casino in Sydney has been hit by coronavirus as it spreads around New South Wales.
A gambler who was at the venue on Saturday 4 July from 7.30pm to 10.30pm has tested positive for the deadly disease.
The casino is now working with health officials to trace any contacts including staff members and other gamblers. It has not been ordered to close.
'The Star is working closely with NSW Health to respond to this information, including the conduct of contact tracing which includes staff members,' the company said in a statement to the ASX.
The casino re-opened on 1 June after lockdown but closes daily from 6am to 10am for a deep clean.

New South Wales has recorded 14 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours amid fears of growing community transmission in the state.
Four are returned travellers in hotel quarantine, two are NSW residents who acquired their infection in Victoria and eight are linked to The Crossroads Hotel in Casula, south-west Sydney.
The pub, a popular rest stop for truckies, has been linked with 13 cases in total.
Thousands who dined there between 3 and 10 July have been told to return for a test at a pop-up clinic in the car park as queues snaked for hundreds of metres outside the venue today.

One of the infected patrons played pokies at Picton Hotel, south of Sydney, on 4, 9 and 10 July. The hotel has been closed for a deep clean and staff are in quarantine.
Another patient went to the Planet Fitness Casula gym which has also been shut down for cleaning.
About 100 staff and pupils from 16 south-west Sydney schools are self-isolating after attending an end-of-term function at the Crossroads hotel on July 3.
This morning 2GB radio host Ben Fordham said he has heard 'patient zero' for the Casula pub outbreak was a truckie from Melbourne and asked Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant if that was the case.

The five newly identified people who caught the virus at the pub include south-western Sydney teenager who worked at the hotel on several days including 3 July.
A south-western Sydney woman in her 40s and a man in his 40s who had dinner at the hotel on 3 July have tested positive.
A Victorian man in his 20s who had dinner at the hotel on 3 July and a Sydney man in his 20s who had dinner at the hotel on 3 July have also been diagnosed.
Three of their close contacts have caught the virus.
It comes as Victoria records 177 new cases, the first time in three days the new daily total has been under 200.
