Share market update: 44 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 44 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were 5Paisa Capital, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Biocon, Britannia Industries, Lakshmi Finance, Escorts,Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Reliance Industries, Tata Communications, Suven Pharma, UFLEX and Reliance Communications.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 109.35 points up at 10877.40
Overall, 48 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 2 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, RIL, Vedanta , Wipro and HCL Tech were among top gainers.
While HDFC Bank, HDFC, Dr. Reddys Labs, PowerGrid and UltraTech Cement were trading in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 371.65 points up at 36965.98.
