NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading lower in Monday's session.

<br> Shares of HDFC Bank (down 2.49 per cent) , Federal Bank (down 2.21 per cent) , Bank of Baroda (down 2.03 per cent) , <a target="_blank" href="/icici-bank-ltd/stocks/companyid-9194.cms">ICICI Bank</a> (down 1.9 per cent) , <a target="_blank" href="/state-bank-of-india/stocks/companyid-11984.cms">State Bank of India</a> (down 1.61 per cent) , Punjab National Bank (down 1.57 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 1.19 per cent) , RBLBANK (down 0.99 per cent) , IDFCBANK (down 0.92 per cent) , Axis Bank (down 0.8 per cent) , Bandhan Bank (down 0.59 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (down 0.58 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The Nifty Bank index was trading 1.67 per cent down at 22023.5 around 02:04PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 0.95 points at 10769.0, while the BSE Sensex was down 14.36 points at 36579.97.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

<br> Shares of Vodafone Idea, SAIL, Tata Motors, YES Bank, SBI, Alok Industries, BHEL, RIL and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
