From Gucci Cruise to Prada SS21—here’s everything you need to know about virtual MFW Men’s
From 14 to 17 July, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci (showing Cruise 2021) and Missoni will be among the biggest names in Italian fashion showcasing their new SS21 collections online—see the schedule here. Each house will be allocated one-hour to present and you can catch the ‘shows’ via the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) website. Giorgio Armani, Fendi and Marni won’t be showing this season.
The event will be the last in a series of digital international fashion weeks before presentations are scheduled to return to a physical format in September.
“For the first time in its history, CNMI is experimenting with a highly innovative formula through a live, digital platform,” CNMI president Carlo Capasa revealed in a statement. “It’s an ultra-inspiring tool, designed to support rather than replace the physical fashion calendar, which will resume in September and will remain vital in promoting ‘Made in Italy’ and the value of its manufacturing prowess.”
The centrepiece of Milan Fashion Week Men’s SS21 will be the Digital Fashion Hub—a space you can access here, which will dive into new and archive collections. Your virtual front-row seat for MFW Men’s awaits.
