Top Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are in touch with rebel Sachin Pilot and are trying to placate him. The Rajasthan deputy CM declared open rebellion against chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday. Sachin Pilot has claimed that he has the support of 30 MLAs and the Ashok Gehlot government is in minority in the 200-member Assembly. Some other Congress leaders including former Union finance minister P Chidambaram, Ahmed Patel and AICC general secretary K C Venugopal also talked to Sachin Pilot.
