NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading in the green in Monday's session.

<br> Shares of Tech Mahindra (up 4.46 per cent) , HCL Technologies (up 3.05 per cent) , Wipro (up 1.94 per cent) , Infosys (up 1.62 per cent) , NIIT Technologies (up 0.26 per cent) and MPhasis (up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> The Nifty IT index was trading 1.41 per cent up at 15784.85 around 02:11PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 13.80 points at 10781.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 32.77 points at 36627.1.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red. 
<br> 
<br> Shares of Vodafone Idea, SAIL, Tata Motors, YES Bank, SBI, Alok Industries, BHEL, RIL and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
