MUMBAI: A 47-year-old man died after a car collided with his two-wheeler near IIT-B main gate on Sunday morning. The car driver, Siddharth Chaudhary (24), a doctor by profession, has been arrested.
According to the police, the victim, Sunil Bhosle, was at the IIT-B junction signal. When the light turned green, he moved ahead. Suddenly the car came from the next lane and rammed into him.
Bhosle was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries. The accused has been booked for rash and negligent driving. He was later released on bail.
