Bulldogs duo involved in schoolgirl sex scandal have contracts reinstated
Bulldogs players Corey Harawira-Naera and Jayden Okunbor will be available for selection in a matter of weeks after the NRL appeals committee reinstated the pair's contracts.
Harawira-Naera and Okunbor were deregistered by the NRL indefinitely for breaching the game's code of conduct after the Port Macquarie schoolgirl scandal.

The pair had consensual sex with schoolgirls during the club's pre-season trip to the mid-north coast. Neither were the subject of any police investigation.
Harawira-Naera could be available for the club's round 11 match, pending advice about biosecurity protocols, after being suspended for 10 games. He will also pay a fine of $15,000.
Okunbor will serve a 14-game ban along with a $22,500 fine and will undergo a course of counselling as directed by interim NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo.
"The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have this afternoon been advised by the NRL of the appeal process result for Corey Harawira-Naera and Jayden Okunbor," the Bulldogs said in a statement.
"We are now working with the NRL to determine how this process will be implemented and will await further advice from the NRL on the next stage. We will release a further update when we have more information."
