Vadodara man arrested for giving rape threats to female comedian, Sonam Kapoor lauds Gujarat Police's prompt action

Few days back, a comic act of a Mumbai-based stand-up comedian Agrima Joshua took over the internet, for apparently 'insulting' Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Her act had not gone down well with a few and she started receiving a lot of ugly commentary from men whose ‘sentiments were hurt'. Soon after that, a a man threatened to sexually assault the female comedian for poking fun at the great Maratha ruler. Now, Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor has lauded the prompt response by the Gujarat Police for taking necessary action against they guy. Sonam Kapoor took to her Twitter handle to thank them for 'listening' and 'doing what's right'.
