CBSE 12th result 2020 LIVE: Over 12 lakh students who appeared in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 exam can check their result today. The result is available at the official websites- results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. Even an hour after declaring the result, several students are unable to check their result due to heavy traffic.

A total of 10.59 lakh (10,59,080) students cleared the class 12 exam, with a pass percentage of 88.78 per cent. The pass percentage improved from the last year. In 2019, 83.40 per cent students had passed class 12 exams. Gender-wise, girls have outperformed boys with 92.15 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys was 86.19 per cent. The pass percentage of transgender students is 66.67 per cent.

The HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal congratulated students. In his tweet, the minister wrote in his tweet, “Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate student’s health & quality education are our priority.”

This year, CBSE is declaring the result without holding exams. In the case of students who have appeared for more than three subjects, the ‘average of the best three performing subjects’ will be awarded for subjects for which the exam could not be held. For students who have appeared in exams in only three subjects, the average of marks obtained in ‘best two performing subjects’ will be awarded for papers for which exam was not held.

For the few students who appeared for only 1 or 2 subjects, the result is calculated based on performance in appeared subjects and performance in internal or practical or project-based assessment, as per the board.

Over 1.5 lakh get 90%+ marks in CBSE

Pass percentage of Kendriya Vidyalyas and JNV

The pass percentage of Kendriya Vidyalaya is 98.62 per cent while for JNV schools, it is 98.70 per cent. A total of 88.78 per cent students cleared the 12th exam successfully.

How to check via google

Step 1: Open the Google/Chrome tab on your phone or desktop.

Step 2: Type ‘CBSE 12 Result 2020’ in the search box.

Step 3: After you select “CBSE 12 Result 2020” from the recommended searches, a CBSE window will open asking you for specific details like your roll number and say, date of birth, for verification.

Step 4: Enter the requested details and click on the “Check Exam Results” button, following which your results will be displayed. It’s as simple as that!

As the official websites are down, the students can check 12th result 2020 through IVRS (Interactive Voice Respond System). Just dial the below mention numbers after the official declaration of the result and tell your Roll No. and Date of Birth –

CBSE 12th result 2020 LIVE: The board has scrapped the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 by 30 per cent. Among some chapters, the board completely deleted chapters on federalism, citizenship, nationalism, and secularism from the political science curriculum of Class 11 for the academic year 2020-21. For classes 8 and below, schools have the freedom to rationalise the syllabus. This was done to make up for the lost instructional hours by the board.
