Amitabh Bachchan health update: Megastar stable with mild symptoms, says Nanavati hospital

'Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit of the hospital', said the Public Relation Officer at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan informed everyone that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 on July 11, and asked fans and well-wishers not to panic. Later, confirming that both Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan have been tested positive for coronavirus, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said that the actors were admitted to the hospital after they showed mild symptoms like cough and fever. Talking about the people who came in Bachchans' contact, Tope added that contact tracing has been started by BMC. Talking about their health, Rajesh Tope said 'they are stable and I pray for their speedy recovery.'
