Pilot's open revolt against the state leadership had fueled speculations that the Rajasthan deputy chief minister might join the BJP. There were unconfirmed reports last night that Pilot is likely to meet BJP chief J P Nadda.

The Congress Legislature Party meeting began at the CM's house at 1.30pm, and ended two hours later.

Rajasthan Congress MLAs boarded buses apparently headed towards a hotel after their meeting at chief minister Ashok Gehlot's official residence on Monday. “All is well,” minister Mamta Bhupesh said before boarding one of the buses.

The Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting at CM Gehlot's residence has now concluded.
107 MLAs are present at the Congress Legislative Party meeting, which is under way at Gehlot's residence, his media advisor tells ANI.

The crisis in Rajasthan Congress intensified with Gehlot and his deputy Sachin Pilot at loggerheads. While Gehlot is blaming BJP for trying to destabilise the state government by poaching MLAs, Pilot is camping in Delhi to speak to the party leadership regarding the political turmoil in the state.
