Covid-19: Nine fresh cases including four minors, six discharged in Kurukshetra

KURUKSHETRA: Nine people including four minors tested positive for Covid-19 while six got discharged after they reported negative in Kurukshetra district on Saturday, said district civil surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh.
“With the recovery rate of 69.47%, the total tally of Covid-19 positive cases reached 190 in Kurukshetra district on Saturday, out of which; 132 patients recovered, one died and 57 are active cases”, said Dr Sukhbir.
“Six people reported negative for Covid-19 and got discharged from hospital on Saturday including a man (37) of Ward 7, Ladwa; a woman (61) of Jyotisar village; a woman (22) of Shantinagar, Kurukshetra; a woman (53) of Vashisth Colony; man (24) of Ward 12, Shahabad; and a man (65) of Gandhi Nagar”, said Dr Sukhbir.
As for the fresh positive patients, Dr Sukhbir said, “Nine people including four minors tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday including a girl (13) of Charuni village, a man (30) of Jhinjharpur village, a man (35) who came from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh; a boy (13) and man (58) of Sector 7; a boy (15) and woman (50) of Patiala Bank Colony; a man (40) of Dayal Nagar and a girl (9) of Krishna Nagar Gamdi, Brahma Chowk.”
“So far in Kurukshetra district, a total of 14,602 samples have been sent for Covid-19 testing, out of which; 13,839 tested negative, 573 reports are awaited and 190 tested positive”, said Dr Sukhbir.
