Pune: Students from various schools like St Mary, Rosary, Magarpatta Public School in the city have done remarkably well and most of them have obtained 99 per cent marks in the Class 10 Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Class 12 Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations, conducted for the academic year 2019-20.

All students of St Mary School and Junior College have successfully cleared the exam including Pratik Sibal (99), Pavani Maheshwari (98.80), Ravi Saxena (98.80), Rashi Saxena (98.80). Out of the total students who appeared for ICSE examination, 80 per cent of students secured above 95 per cent in English. While for ISC, all students have secured above 90 per cent marks including Sai Kulkarni (97.8), Rohan Gupta (97.8), Shambavi Sharma (97.5), Sakshi Bajare (96.8).

In ICSE exam, 35 students of Rosary school have shown exemplary performance including Pragati Londhe, Siddharth Londhe and Vedant Tapkir. Pragati Londhe and Akshata Londhe have obtained hundred per cent marks in the English.

Vidya Pratishthan's Magarpatta Public School has also recorded a hundred per cent result. Out of the total 114 students, 77 students have scored more than 90 per cent marks. This is the eleventh consecutive year of the school maintaining a hundred per cent result. School Principal C Bannerjee said, "Aditya Bidgar has scored 99 per cent marks and has come out as a topper from the school. Devvrat Patni (98.8), Mitul Devlikar (98.6), Shaunak Panda (98.6) have come second and third in the school."

About 85 students from Pawar Public School located in Amanora Park have obtained more than 90 per cent marks including Anisha Jain (99.17), Archisa Panda (99), Kavya Vithani (98.67), Tanish Raghute (98.67) and Rijul Barot (98.67).

Mansi Jangam and Shivani Dalal, both from Wisdom World School in Wakad have scored 99 per cent, followed by Harshita Chutani (98.93) and Srushti Ramchandani (98.83). Mansi said, "I used to study for five to six hours daily before the exams. I focussed more on solving question papers. I have an interest in finance and plan to take admission to the commerce stream."
