Bringing some sigh of relief, Maharashtra Health Minister, Rajesh Tope has shared that the actor is stable. Abhishek Bachchan also took to Twitter to announce that he and his dad both tested positive on Saturday and they both have mild symptoms.
Since the actor has medical comorbidities, he has opted for getting admitted in the hospital instead of home quarantining. For the unversed, the term comorbidities means a person suffering from multiple disorders. It is important to note that elderlies and those suffering from chronic health conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, cardiovascular conditions, cancer and chronic kidney disease are at a greater risk of developing severe illness from COVID-19.
It is widely known that Big B is a TB and Hepatitis B survivor. He is still surviving on 25 per cent liver function. The very fact that he also falls in the age category that is vulnerable, he doesn't want to take chances.
