10 inmates at Kalaburagi prison confirmed infected

Kalaburagi: A day after 10 inmates at the Kalaburagi Central Prison tested positive for the novel coronavirus, they were shifted to the Covid-19 ward at the Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) on Friday.
Nearly 60 inmates who had been released on parole as part of the precautionary measures taken by the law enforcement authorities to decongest prisons to arrest the transmission of the novel coronavirus returned to the jail recently.
