Amitabh Bachchan tests Positive for Covid-19
After Amitabh Bachchan confirmed on Twitter that he has tested positive for the COVID-19, Abhishek Bachchan too has informed that he is COVID-19 potive. Both have been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. Test results of the rest of the family members are awaited. The megastar took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. He wrote, "I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!"

Soon after this news broke, Abhishek Bachchan too informed via Twitter that he too, has been found COVID-19 positive. He wrote: "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you". In the next tweet he added: "The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them."

Sources say both the actors have very mild symptoms of coronavirus. Fans and friends of both Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have poured in their speedy recovery wishes on Twitter and Instagram.
Informing the same on Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan earlier shared a photo along with the caption, "This evening I tested positive for COVID 19 .. have been shifted to Hospital .. authorities informed .. family and staff tested results awaited .. all those that came in close proximity to me in the last 10 days please get yourself tested".
Nanavati Hospital at Ville Parle is near to the actor's residence in Juhu area. According to our sources, he has very mild symptoms.
As soon as Amitabh Bachchan tweeted the news of him being found positive for coronavirus, celebrities from all over the world have taken to social media to wish the megastar a speedy recovery.
Recently, Amitabh mourned the loss of his Sholay co-actor Jagdeep. Remembering the late actor in his blog post, he wrote, "Last night we lost another gem... Jagdeep...
