Emergency services called to bushwalker fall at Mount Barney
Emergency services are at Mount Barney near the Queensland-NSW border after reports of a bushwalker falling down a cliff.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Lower Portals Road about 10.45am to respond to the reports.
Paramedics and other emergency services were still on the scene at 2.45pm.
A police spokeswoman said it was believed the bushwalker was with a group of two or three others and assistance had been sought to help walk the group out of the area.
Lower Portals is the site of a remote camping area that requires bushwalkers to walk about four kilometres in to access.
