England openers Rory Burns and Dom Sibley dominated the morning session as they kept the West Indies bowlers at bay for the majority of the first session on Day 4 in Southampton on Saturday. The duo batted sensibly without taking too much risks and added a 72 runs for the opening wicket. The solid opening-wicket stand helped the hosts reduce the West Indies lead to just 35 runs as they finished on 79/1 at lunch on Saturday. The only setback for the hosts came when Burns lost his patience and threw his wicket away just a few overs before the lunch to hand West Indies their first breakthrough.
