Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation extends lockdown till July 1

NAVI MUMBAIi: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has now extended its lockdown period till the midnight of July 19. Commissioner A B Misal said that this extension was necessary to control the pandemic situation.
The previously announced 10-day lockdown was supposed to end on July 13.
In his official order, Misal has reiterated that the AMPC wholesale market, Thane-Belapur TTC industrial area, and various Health and Essential Services are allowed to operate as usual during the lockdown period.
All citizens are expected to cooperate with the civic and police authorities, urged Misal.
