PATNA: JD(U) national general secretary (organization) RCP Singh on Saturday said that his leader Nitish Kumar never promoted dynasticism in the party whereas in one of the opposition parties , first three-to-five seats always remain reserved for the members of a particular family.
Addressing a virtual rally of the Yuva JD(U), youth wing of his party, through social media platforms, Singh further said, “If a person has merit and capacity and also does hard work, he/ she can reach to any level in the JD(U). There is no scope of nepotism or dynasticism within the party. But look at the scenario at other camps. First three-to-five seats always remain reserved for the members of a particular family.”
“In the other party, if there is a vacancy of a minister, MLC or Rajya Sabha member, the family members will be given first priority. But in JD(U), any worker can rise to any level on the basis of his/ her merit, capacity and hard work. What to talk about the post of MLC and MP, here workers are given the post of ministers and key positions in the organization,” Singh told the Yuva JD(U) workers without taking the name of any of the opposition parties.
In a bid to convince the young workers how the JD(U) is different from other political parties in Bihar, Singh said Nitish Kumar-led organization was the only political party which has not only preserved the socialists’ ideology but also made all out efforts to further propagate the thoughts of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Ram Manohar Lohia, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Jayaprakash Narayan and Jannayak Karpoori Thakur.
“Our leader Nitish Kumar implemented the ideology of these leaders and always thought for the welfare of the people standing on the lowest pedestal of the society. Nitish Ji’s ideology of ‘development with justice’ is based on the ideology of these great personalities. You can find certain aspects of the ideology of these great leaders in any scheme of the Nitish –led government,” Singh, who is also the JD(U) leader in the Rajya Sabha, said. He further called upon the members of the Yuva JD(U) to be aware about the ideology of Nitish Kumar.
It was also decided at the meeting that henceforth the Yuva JD(U) would organize a programme named as “Yuva Vichar- Viksit Bihar-Nitish Kumar” on every Saturday. During the programme, the members of Yuva JD(U) would connect through social media platforms and inform youths about the good works done by the Nitish Government in the last 15 years.
Speaking on the occasion, Yuva JD(U) state president and MLA Abhay Kushwaha said workers of his organization would reach each polling booth across the state and inform people about the differences in 15 year rule of Lalu-Rabri and the 15 year rule of Nitish Kumar.
