Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday that putting a lockdown to stop the spread of corona virus is not a permanent option and it has a profound impact on the economic system.

After taking stock of the corona situation at the Government Medical College, he said that from tonight onwards the lockdown of 10 days in Aurangabad should be the last and it should be fully followed.

He said that the public does not want to go back at the time of lockdown and that more and more testing is the only way to prevent corona. The former chief minister said that the Shiv Sena-led government was hiding the number of corona patients.
