MUMBAI: Results for Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) will be announced on today i.e., Friday, 3pm. This year, the pending exams-—six for ICSE and eight for ISC—had to be cancelled by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations after parents moved court amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
On July 3, the council had said that results would be calculated based on a formula arrived at after consulting statistici ans of premier institutions and analysing the exam results from 2015 to 2019, as well as the incomplete 2020 session. Emulating CBSE’s formula, the average marks of the best three subjects for which the students have appeared in the board exams would be taken to compute the final score. While practical project marks would be taken for ISC students, which varies from 20 to 30 marks, for Class X internal assessment marks would be included.
Students will be able to check their results on www.cisce.org or via SMS. They will be able to avail the re-evaluation provision only for subjects for which the written exams were conducted till July 16.
