A woman employee at a private lounge at the Delhi IGI airport has filed a police complaint against her managers and said they have been sexually harassing her and intimidating her for months. After she refused sexual favours and advances by the two managers, she was sacked.

The 26-year-old finally lodged a police complaint on Tuesday after she was sacked by the managers of the private lounge, reported The Indian Express. The duty manager and general manager of the private lounge were arrested on Thursday over the woman’s complaint.

Del airport authorities have said that the private lounges are not operated by GMR-DIAL and are privately-owned.

The woman, who worked at a private lounge at Terminal 3 of IGI Airport, has said in her complaint that her ordeal has been going on for 6 months as the two managers constantly harassed her and demanded sexual favours.

She has said once when she was changing her uniform, the general manager pushed her into a room and refused to let her go. As she escaped, the duty manager told her that she has missed a “golden chance to impress” the manager. Since then, they had been looking for ways to harass and sack her, said the woman.

She also alleged that the duty manager even touched her inappropriately. She has said on March 24, she was called to work by the duty manager who tried to exploit her and abuse her.
