Jaipur Municipal Corporation engineer tests positive for Covid-19

JAIPUR: An engineer of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. Appointed at Moti Dungri zone office, he was suffering from high fever for past five days after which he went to conduct tests and found positive.
A senior JMC official said, “The engineer was working in Solid Waste Management Project in JMC and involved in ration distribution by the civic body to various areas of the city. He was suffering from fever and when tested found positive. After his tests results came, we tested around 17 officers and employees of the project. Their report is pending.”
Entire office is being sanitized. The affected officer took tests at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and is now home quarantined. A month back, two chief sanitary inspectors of Moti Dungri zones were found positive. Following this, special tests were conducted at JMC premises.
