HBSE 10th Result 2020: Haryana Board Class 10 results released @bseh.org.in; 64.59% pass

NEW DELHI: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSHE) on Friday declared Class 10 Results 2020 on its official website.
The examination result of regular candidates has been 64.59 percent. The pass percentage of girls was 69.86 percent and that of boys was 60.27 percent.
While announcing the result of this, Board President Dr. Jagbir Singh and Board Secretary Mr. Rajiv Prasad jointly said that only four subjects of secondary examination could be conducted before Covid-19 lockdown.

According to the marking policy adopted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Board of Education, Bhiwani has also considered marks based on the average marks of the examination conducted in the subjects and the result has been prepared accordingly. Candidates can check their exam results on the website of the board www.bseh.org.in.

If a candidate is not satisfied with the declared result, he/she can take examination, which will be conducted after the Covid-19 situation improves in the state. The candidate will be given two opportunities for appearing in the examination.

The Board president said that in the Secondary (Regular) Examination, first place was grabbed by Rishita while the second place was taken by Uma, Kalpana, Nikita Maruti Samvat, Sneha Tagore and Ankita.

Around 3,37,691 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 2,18,120 passed and 32,501 candidates placed under compartment while 87,070 candidates have failed. The pass percentage for Class 10th stands at 64.59%.

Around 1,85,429 boys took the examination, out of which 1,11,751 passed and out of 1,52,262 girls 1,06,369 cleared the examination.

Once again the results of girls was better than the boys as their pass percentage was recorded at 69.86% while the pass percentage for boys was 60.27%.

Pass percenatge for city schools was 65% while it was little less for schools in rural area i.e., 64.39%.

Performance of the government schools remain dismal as their paas percentage was only 59.74% while 69.52% was the pass percentage for the private schools.

Earlier, the result was to be decalred around 8 pm but delayed by half-an-hour, however the result link has not been activated on the official website.

The BSEH Class 10 Results 2020 will only be released on the Board's official website - bseh.org.in.

The Board did not conduct the pending Science subject exam for Class 10 as the High Court has stayed the holding of the pending examination due to Covid-19 situation in the state. .

Board Chairman Jagveer Singh and Secretary Rajiv Prasad will announce the result today around 8 pm in a press conference.

Earliet, the Haryana government had decided to promote all students from class 1 to 10 without any examination. The chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had said that no students would be detained in any class and would be promoted without any examinations.

2) Click on the link that reads "Haryana 10th Result 2020", a new page will appear on your screen

3) Enter your exam roll number and other details asked

5) Click on the submit button

6) Your Haryana Class 10 Results will be displayed on the screen

7) Download the HBSE 10th Result Scorecard in PDF Format
