Giving good wishes on the foundation day of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that for the last seven decades the Council has been playing an important role in motivating the youth to serve the country with their nationalist ideology.

Today is the 71st Foundation Day of the Council. It was founded on July 9, 1949. Balraj Madhok did it. Shri Shah said in the greeting message, for its last seven decades, the Council has been playing an important role in motivating the youth towards service by its nationalist ideology.

Wishing all the workers of the Council on the foundation of nation building by following the thoughts and ideals of Swami Vivekananda, Foundation Day.
