5 labels you will always find in Priyanka Chopra's wardrobe

From Sabyasachi lehengas to Dior gowns, these are the designer brands that are a staple in Priyanka Chopra's wardrobe

It’s safe to say, Priyanka Chopra has a knack for pulling off unexpected outfits with sheer ease. “I think my personal style has changed quite dramatically. I experiment far more now than I did before. I have also come to enjoy the process much more. Over the years, I've realised that I have to be true to me, whatever the trends might be,” the actor told Vogue in an interview. Sure, the actor wears many hats, but it's her sartorial sensibilities that really put her in the spotlight. Whether she is catching a flight or walking the red carpet in a high-octane number, the actor’s style is avidly watched on both sides of the globe. From her go-to Indian designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee to international labels like Dior—here are five labels that the star swears by.

Sabyasachi

Scroll through Priyanka Chopra’s style file and you’ll instantly know that when it comes to Indian ethnic dressing, the actor loves her Sabyasachi outfits. The designer’s creations, be it saris, anarkalis or lehengas, have won her vote time and again over the years. Not only has she worn special costumes by the couturier for red-carpet events, she had him custom-make outfits for her wedding celebrations in 2018.

Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

The Mumbai-based designer duo is known for their hand crafted couture pieces including lehengas, saris and kurtas. Over the years, the duo has dressed many Bollywood celebrities such as Isha Ambani, Sara Ali Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Priyanka Chopra. Be it at her own sangeet ceremony or for a red carpet event, Chopra has always been a brand loyalist. Some of her most stunning looks from the label include the ivory sari she wore at the 2019 Marrakech International Film Festival and the multi-coloured Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga she wore during her mehandi ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren is a classic brand that exudes effortless, timeless style. I'm also a huge fan of the evening wear, with its elegant details and graceful silhouettes,” Chopra told us in an interview. The brand’s timeless skirts and blouses have been a favourite of the superstar. Over the years, she has also been seen wearing the brand's gowns and maxi dresses for various important occasions (remember when the actor arrived at the MET 2017 in a trailing trench dress with Nick Jonas?).

Dior

If there is one word that can describe the actor's style, it would be 'versatile'. And the one brand that stands out in most of her looks is Dior. Whether she is walking the Met Gala red carpet or prepping up for an evening, the brand’s pieces seem to have a special spot in her closet. Remember when she turned heads in a custom made silver gown by Dior at Met Gala 2019 ?The actor also attended the Dior fall 2019 show with her husband Nick Jonas in a green gown.

Zuhair Murad

Priyanka Chopra’s love affair with Zuhair Murad Couture is an old one. It was in 2016, when the star made her Academy Awards debut in a white lace gown by the Lebanese designer in one of his creations. Ever since then, there has been no looking back. Even at the Billboard Music Awards 2019, the actor walked the red carpet in a stunning floor-length gown plucked from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2019 collection.
