Former Bafana Bafana boss Shakes Mashaba has dismissed reports linking him with the head coach role at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

TTM are on the lookout for a new coach for the 2020/21 Premier Soccer League season after admitting they won't retain the services of Gavin Hunt.

The club will take the place of Bidvest Wits in the PSL next season after buying the top-flight franchise but won't retain the expensive Hunt.

And Mashaba, who has previously managed South Africa, Black Leopards, Swaziland and Witbank Spurs, says he's had no contact from TTM.

Speaking to KickOff, Mashaba said: "Ahh, I can't comment because I'm not in the picture of it.

"As for me, I haven't heard anything. You are the second person who is telling me about it. Serious, if I knew something I would comment.

"Yeah. It's not a task actually, it's my area of expertise you know. If anybody needs my help, I will definitely go for it. But so far I haven't heard anything official."
