HYDERABAD: Punjagutta police registered a criminal case on Thursday against two youth congress leaders for allegedly staging a flash protest in front of Pragathi Bhavan, which is the official residence of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Congress leaders- Kotla Sai Baba and Kotla Hrithik,- were booked for showing a placard "Where is KCR. He is my CM. It’s my right to know."
The two student activists, who were taken into custody on Wednesday by Task Force sleuths from their residence, were brought to Punjagutta police and they were booked under sections 186(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant),504 ( Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace),506(criminal intimidation) of IPC.
Later, both were released by the police by granting them bail. The two persons came on a bike and stopped near the exit gate of the building. The pillion rider then went on to stand in front of the gate with a placard. Based on the CCTV footage they were caught.
