This filter claims to convert your split AC into an air sterilizer

Delhi-based clean air solutions company Nirvana Being has introduced an all-in-one nanotech AC filter that can be fitted inside any split AC model to remove viruses and bacteria. The company claims that the cleaning efficiency is similar to that of an air sterilizer.
The filter comes at a price of Rs 2,695 per pack and caters to two ACs. The filters can be used with split ACs of any brand and tonnage. “Each filter is estimated to have a life of 300-600 hours based on the AQI conditions. The filter is ideal for indoor spaces, like homes, offices, doctors clinics, stores, restaurants and other places which have a high footfall, and hence a higher risk,” said the company.
It claims that these filters can even help stop the spread of germs and disease-causing particles. “The product was created for the mass market after thorough research wherein the team realized that COVID-19 particles have a diameter of close to 0.12 microns, and standard HEPA filters, which are somewhat porous, cannot filter nano-particles smaller than 0.3 microns. Therefore, Nirvana Being developed a filter using nanotechnology to filter down to 0.1 micron,” it said.
AC filters are not a new concept. There are companies that offer separate PM2.5 filters for split ACs. However, most of these filters reduce the cooling efficiency of the AC. The company claims that they have addressed this issue and their filters don't affect air flow in ACs.
Readers note that there are no independent tests that can confirm that these filters are effective in fighting COVID-19.
