KARNAL: Former chief minister and leader of opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state government, stating that Haryana has the highest unemployment rate in the country.
According to the latest data of the Centre for Monitoring of Indian Economy, Haryana has earned the first position in unemployment after crossing the Tripura state.
Hood was addressing a press conference at Congress leader and former Haryana minority commission chairman Tarlochan Singh’s residence on Wednesday.
He alleged that one by one, scams under the regime of the BJP government are coming to the fore. He said the latest is rice scam. He alleged that in the rice scam too the government will not take any action against anyone.
Hooda said, “Every section of society has been hit hard by the Covid pandemic, but the BJP government is raising the prices of fuel. This has happened when the prices of international crude are at a record low. The government should provide relief to the poor people.”
