KANPUR: Vaishnavi Mishra, the elder daughter of DSP Devendra Mishra who was killed during a raid at gangster Vikas Dubey’s residence, on Monday said that initially, she wanted to become a doctor but now she would like to follow the footsteps of her father.
"I now want to be a police officer so that such criminals could be wiped out from the society," said Vaishnavi.
Those present at this hour at the house of the slain cop could not hide their tears. Vaishnavi's declaration to become a police officer instead of a doctor made everyone emotional.
Late DSP's wife Asha Mishra said that she was proud of her husband and now she is proud of her daughter who wishes to be a police officer and serve society. She, however, said criminals like Vikas should meet their fate.
