Covid-19: Thane missing man dead, handed to other family who cremated him

THANE: The missing 72-year-old Covid-19 patient from TMC’s global hub hospital was actually declared dead three days back but due to a goof-up, the hospital authorities handed over the body of the missing man to another family from Kopri who cremated him.
It is now revealed that the Kopri based man is actually alive in his ward and also a Covid-19 patient undergoing treatment.
On Monday, the Thane Municipal Corporation faced a flak from the opposition as well as citizens activists a high level committee was formed of special officer from Thane Municipal Corporation and few other officials who carried out the probe and found the reality.
Pale of gloom casted over the Kalwa based family who were searching for the missing man now and in mourning but for the Kopri based family its a 'miracle'.
