Dearness Allowance Hike in Haryana latest news today: There will be no dearness allowance hike for state government employees in Haryana till July 2021. They will, however, continue to get DA at the current rates. The Government of Haryana has issued order for freezing Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for state government employees and pensioners respectively at current rates till July 2021 due to COVID-19.

In an official notification, the Finance Department of Haryana said, “…in view of the crisis arising out of Covid-19, it has been decided that additional installment of Dearness Allowance payable to Haryana Government employees and Dearness Relief to Haryana Government pensioners, due from 1st January 2020 shall not be paid. The additional installments of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief due from 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 shall also not be paid. However, Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief at current rates i.e. 17% will continue to be paid.”
