Heavy rain continues to lash Mumbai and its suburbs, causing waterlogging in several parts. The Met department has issued a warning stating that intense spells of rain likely to occur at isolated places in the island city and Thane in the next few hours. Stay with TOI for all updates:

In the last one hour (ending 3.16pm), maximum rains have been recorded in Mumbai in areas namely, Borivali 50 mm, Kandivali 49mm, Mulund 41.66mm, Malad 37mm, Versova 31.25mm, while parts of Navi Mumbai like Belapur reported 28.5mm of rains, Nerul 31.2mm of rains and Juinagar 31mm. Thane reported the most rains of 61.7 mm.
