One policeman and one army soldier have been injured in an encounter between forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. According to reports, a joint team of Police and Army's 53 Rashtriya Rifles laid a cordon-and-search operation in Gusso area of Pulwama.

As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, hiding terrorists fired upon them. Fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering an encounter.
