NEW DELHI: NourishCo Beverages managing director Deepika Warrier has quit the company and is set to join alcohol beverages maker Diageo, officials aware of the development said.

NourishCo was formed a decade back as an equal joint venture between PepsiCo and Tata Consumer Products to build scale in the packaged hydration space. Two months back, Tata Consumer Products had acquired PepsiCo’s stake in the JV.

Warrier moves on after two decades at PepsiCo where she worked on key roles in strategy and marketing functions across snacks, beverages and nutrition, including activation on PepsiCo’s association as cricket tournament IPL T20’s previous title sponsor.

A PepsiCo spokesperson confirmed Warrier was moving on from the beverages and snacks maker. “In the last two decades, with each role and responsibility, she made a huge impact to the business, and has been instrumental in building brands and innovation platforms,” the spokesperson said.
