The deadlock between China and India in eastern Ladakh has been going on for a long time. In such a situation, now the People's Liberation Army (PLA) has started retreating from some point. China was constantly showing arrogance at the border, but India's stern stance forced it to bow down. India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks on Sunday and the result is out.
On Monday evening, the PLA personnel retreated from the Finger Four area. The Indian military commander said, "We need to monitor the activities in Pangong Tso to come to any firm conclusions." The military officer said the PLA was unfavorable about its military positions in Galvan, Gogra, and Hot Springs.
He said that although the Chinese side benefited in Pangong Tso as they built a road up to Finger Four. Officials say both forces are retreating in a gradual manner. Every point is being negotiated between military commanders. Please tell me that there was a bloody clash between the two armies on 15 June. In this, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred.
At first, China was not willing to step back on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). After this, on Sunday at 8.45 am, Chief of Army Staff MM Narwane called Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Then there were talks between the diplomats of the two countries. In the evening, there was a video conference between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The talks between Doval and Wang Yi lasted for about two hours. There was disagreement as to who to blame for the deadlock and the June 15 violence. Despite this, both agreed on many issues. Doval told Wang that Beijing needed to restore the patrolling rights of the Indian Army to the LLC's four points to ensure peace and stability. Analysts say the result of a conversation between Doval and Wang is that the army has regained its patrol rights on Lake Pangong.
