'Who is this imposter?' Catriona posted.
'A domestic goddess has kidnapped my true "there's nothing wrong with two-minute noodles" self and replaced her with someone obsessed with recipe books.'
Catriona continued: 'I blame lockdown. I should have learned Italian/piano/makeup tutorials like everyone else on social media.
'But no, my children seem to have food particles permanently stuck to their faces, my fresh farmer is thrilled and everyone has started rating my meals as though we are on Masterchef.
'Room service isn't but a distant memory. I don't know who I am anymore.'

Catriona also makes a 'magical chocolate cake' which was created by her godfather's wife, Christine (recipe pictured)

The recipes proved to be a hit on her profile, as well, with hundreds of commenters saying they couldn't wait to try them for themselves (Catriona Rowntree pictured)

'I love these kind of recipes. No obscure ingredients, a small amount of ingredients and the method looks like the recipe can be whipped up in a jiffy!' one commenter posted (recipe for her apple teacake pictured)
Catriona said the two recipes she has been making most during lockdown is an apple teacake recipe, courtesy of her friend Jane Webster, and a gooey chocolate cake, courtesy of her godfather's wife, Christine.
Both are surprisingly simple to prepare, as well as being filled with delicious and healthy ingredients including Granny Smith apples and 80 per cent dark chocolate.

Previously, Catriona has shared the health and beauty secrets that keep her looking ageless as she heads towards her fifties.
These include using lavender both on her pillow, on her pulse points and around her home to create a 'soothing' feeling of calm, as well as rose quartz crystals to create a feeling of relaxation.
'I also use something called the Santa Maria Novella Elisir,' Catriona said.
'I discovered it in a convent in Rome years ago, made by nuns from recipes created around 1614 by a friar to help to calm the nerves of hysterical nuns.'
The elixir costs $99 and contains the essential oils of aromatic plants to help to calm the user's nerves.
Catriona said she adds a few drops to her water and finds 'it really works'.
Elsewhere, the TV host said we should all be putting our phones down more often, switching off from the news cycle regularly and reading for escapism.
'I try not to let my children watch the news as it freaks them out, they need us to talk to them, soothe and protect them... step away from the phone!' Catriona said.
She has two children, Andrew and Charles, who are aged 11 and nine.
Instead of the news, Catriona recommends a book or some classical music played out loud in the home.
'I also limit myself to two cups of coffee per day and seek a tea that contains chamomile,' she said.
Caffeine is a stimulant and too much of it can make you jittery and nervous.
Finally, the Getaway presenter said if you're feeling down, try phoning a friend and asking them how they are.
'We all need to connect,' Catriona said.
