Arshad Warsi urges people to help him pay his electricity bills by buying his paintings, says he’s saving ‘kidneys’ for next bill

A lot of Bollywood celebrities have been complaining about the unusual hike in electricity bills amid lockdown. Adding a humorous take to this whole situation, actor Arshad Warsi took to his Twitter to urge people to buy his paintings so that he can pay his electricity bills. He also added that he is keeping aside his ‘kidneys’ to pay for the next bill. This post left many friends from the industry amused. Shruti Seth wrote that although she is a proud owner of two such paintings, she might have to sell one off to pay her own bill. The actor also laughed when a Twitter user quipped that she might have to sell her own kidney to afford his painting. Sanjay Gupta lauded Arshad’s sense of humour which led to a fun exchange between the two. In the end, Arshad’s tweet triggered a satisfying response from the concerned department.
