‘I will donate every fortnight’

Surat: Dr Kishor Dudhat, an orthopedic surgeon, who became the first plasma donor in the city on Sunday, vowed to continue donating plasma every fortnight to help Covid-19 patients fight the disease successfully. After his father, Vitthal Dudhat (67) got infected with coronavirus in the first week of May and was put on a ventilator at New Civil Hospital, the surgeon and his dentist wife, Dr Kiran too, tested positive. “We thank the civil hospital administration for their dedication and helping us all recover from the infection,” Dr Dudhat told TOI.
