A case has been registered against unknown persons including a Samajwadi Party MP, four MLAs, for not following the rules to celebrate the birthday of Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Superintendent of Police Amit Anand said on Saturday that SP MP, MLA and activist had gathered at the SP office in Milak of Chakkar to celebrate the 47th birthday of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. During this period, social distancing was violated.
Police said an FIR has been lodged under the violation of the Social Distancing and Pandemic Act. In the FIR, a case has been registered in sections 147, 188, 269, 3, 51H, including the district president, including 20 leaders and 25-300 activists as accused.
The recorded FIR states that on the occasion of the birthday of Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, cake was distributed and distributed to the workers in SP office without prior permission. During this time, social distancing was not followed.
In addition to SP, SP Hassan of Moradabad, SP District President Jayveer Singh, MLA Haji Ikram Qureshi, MLA Haji Rizwan, former MLA Haji Yusuf Ansari, Nawab Jaan, Faim Irfan, Babar Khan, Wasim Qureshi, Rajendra Singh, Cases have been registered against Sushil Thakur, Haji Mannu Qureshi, Mahendra Singh, Jigri Malik, Zubair Ahmed, Mohsin Khan, Lalu Parvez, Vajad Khan, DP Yadav and 20 to 25 unidentified.
