TAUNTON - Michael Patacao, VP/Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Bristol County Savings Bank, has been selected as a winner of the Providence Business News 16th Annual 40 Under Forty program and will be honored during a virtual ceremony to be held Thursday, July 16.

The 40 young professional awardees were selected based on their career success and involvement within their communities.

Patacao has successfully served the business community in greater New Bedford, Massachusetts as part of the Bank’s team for more than ten years. Also active in the community, he currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, a Board Member for Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford and SSTAR (Stanley Street Treatment & Resources, Inc.) in Fall River and a member of the Prince Henry Society, New Bedford Chapter. Patacao earned his bachelor’s degree in Management from UMass Dartmouth and is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. In 2015, he was recognized with the SouthCoast Emerging Leaders Award and he is a graduate of Leadership SouthCoast, Class of 2016.

Patacao resides in Westport.
