Rajasthan government has now given this responsibility to DB Gupta

The Rajasthan government has appointed DB Gupta, a senior Indian Administrative Service officer, as an advisor to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Gupta was removed as Chief Secretary of State on Thursday night. The Department of Personnel issued appointment orders on Sunday night.

The department also issued orders for the transfer of three officers of the Indian Administrative Service. Udaipur District Collector Anandi has been made District Collector of Alwar while Kishore Kumar Sharma, who is waiting for posting, has been made District Collector of Chittorgarh. According to the order of the Department, Chittorgarh District Collector Chetan Ram Deora has been made the new District Collector of Udaipur.
