Manushi Chhillar urges to support vulnerable children with ‘Support the Childhood Challenge’
India’s pride, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar who is the epitome of beauty and humility is back with a challenge to help raise funds for vulnerable kids and with the help of this initiative to provide them with a better childhood and brighter future built on hope.
Speaking her heart out through a post along with a picture from her childhood, she said, “I have been blessed and fortunate enough to have had a safe, healthy and happy childhood. Today I realize the importance of my upbringing that has impacted and shaped my value system, my perspective towards the world and people, and has also made me the person that I am today. Thus, it’s deeply disturbing to know how many children in my country don’t get the childhood that they deserve.”
The gorgeous beauty who collaborated with UNICEF's campaign to raise awareness on the coronavirus pandemic has taken up yet another initiative to help support vulnerable kids to survive this pandemic. She said, “The current pandemic is only increasing the threat for them when they are at such an impressionable age. But we can together make a difference. UNICEF is providing urgent and life saving support to vulnerable children. I’m supporting them and you can too.”
Being the right role model, she has taken a step to support the ones in utter need and has urged her 6 million followers to support the cause. Manushi concluded and said, “Support the Childhood Challenge initiative by sharing your happiest childhood memory and donate to UNICEF India the amount equal to the year you were born in. Let’s pledge to make the world a better place for all children and particularly save those in crisis situations.”
