The construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will now begin in October. Sources of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Nyas have indicated that Bhoomi Poojan can be done between Ashwin Shuklapaksha Pratipada or grand ceremony around Vijayadashami. Since there cannot be any auspicious work in these three months of Sawan, Bhadon, and Kunar, now the foundation stone is being prepared for the temple construction in the Shardiya Navaratra that falls in October. Sources in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad have indicated the same. Dates have been changed many times regarding Bhoomipujan, about 12 such Muhurats have been postponed so far.

However, there was an important meeting last 26 June. In which this issue was given considerable consideration. Then the saints wrote a letter urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to Ayodhya to lay the foundation stone of Lord Ram's temple. It has been learned that the branding will be done on a large scale to make this foundation stone event in October a grand event.

According to trust sources, work is going on for the rest of the other buildings and other construction on the 78-acre campus. Spiritual, religious, and moral rituals continue for land reclamation. Sources in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad are also indicating that if the situation of the corona is completely controlled throughout the country and if all the conditions are favorable then Bhumi Pujan can be done during Durga Puja.

On the other hand, the mosque side has also announced to start work in October itself. This announcement came only after the Sunni Central Waqf Board approved the extension of the term by 6 months. Shortly thereafter, Waqf Board Chairman Zufair Farooqui said that a 14-member mosque construction committee has been formed by the UP government to build a mosque on a five-acre plot of land near Ayodhya. It also includes senior religious leaders and architects of Islam. That is, the current committee of the board will build the mosque on the land allotted in Dhannipur village, about 22 km from Ayodhya.
